Abstract This article offers a broad-ranging comparison of practical philosophy in the West and China with view to enabling not only better mutual understanding between two sides but also self -understanding on each side. Contrary widespread Western conceptions that Chinese may have contributed some important principles first-order morality has little area meta-ethics as compared West, it is argued here did indeed make contributions morality, addition generally superior meta-ethics.
